‘You haven’t heard the last of Brian Blair’; County Commission run in the future?
In a screed to whatever supporters Brian Blair still has left, Blair’s publicist Shannon Rose threatens promises that “that this will not be the last you hear from Brian Blair on a campaign trail. He does not give up” while attempting to blame Blair’s loss on the media coverage, which originated on this blog, about the troubles Blair’s family is facing. Full letter here:
Dear Brian Blair Supporters,I am Brian Blair’s Publicist and friend. After scanning through the numerous letters I have received on Brian’s behalf, I want to share a letter written by a long time loyal friend and supporter of Brian Blair, Ed Barbara.Brian,I have known you for over 21 years and Yes we were friends, then business partners and even after that dear friends. Over the past few months and especially over the past 4 weeks, I have had the extreme pleasure and insight to work with you, for your cause and the betterment of our community, government and state. I want to congratulate you on your steadfast commitment to integrity, calmness, methodical decision making and dedication while facing much adversity with personal challenges within your own family and especially holding firm on your morals and values while some of your opponents clearly did not. You had people that love what you stand for and respect who you are.While you were County Commissioner you saved the Taxpayers probably more money than any Commissioner in history. You have proven yourself in business, Politics, and in the community as an honest and caring individual.If you had the right connections in Tallahassee, you would be our Representative. Your Dad was not a Senator or Deacon at a large Church in our district with extreme influence.It was an honor and pleasure to be asked to help get your message out. I received more from watching you live your morals and values through adversity than you got from me putting up signs, making phone calls and knocking on doors with you. For that I thank you and congratulate you.
