If there is a brokered convention, Republicans says they want Christie over Jeb

A new Quinnipiac poll finds that if none of the candidates currently running wins enough delegates to earn the nomination, Republicans prefer New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie over Sarah Palin, Jeb Bush and Mitch Daniels.

Republican and Republican-leaning independent voters say 48% to 37%, it would be bad for the GOP if none of the current candidates wins enough delegates to be nominated and the Republican National Convention nominates someone not in the primary race, a so-called “brokered convention.”
