I second the motion about Caladesi Island

in Apolitical/Peter/The Bay and the 'Burg by

From Tampa’s best blog, Sticks of Fire: “Dr. Beach came out with his top beaches for this year, and once again (of course), Tampa Bay is represented. You may remember last year that Fort DeSoto was named the top beach in the U.S. This year, Caladesi Island ranks as America’s No. 2 beach. My best friend is now a dentist!

For over 20 years now, Sharon and I have been friends. First in our Gifted class, then at Holy Family, next at Northeast and throughout our college years. Throughout it all, Sharon has been close by. And best of all, she has been my…

Britt Brock is 21

in Apolitical/Peter/The Bay and the 'Burg by

There are few young women as intelligent, classy, fun-loving and beautiful as my friend Britt Brock, best friend of the Shady Intern Sara, through whom I met Miss Brock. Brittany, a member of Zeta Tau Alpha at FSU and a recent debutante here in St. Pete, turned 21 yesterday and, no doubt, enjoyed one hell of a rockin’ Tennessee (St.) Waltz. Always where the party is at, Britt organized a Punk Princess outing last night to celebrate her birthday and…
