Tampa is the official headquarters of the Hillary Clinton Florida campaign, and a new Tampa office will be opening up Thursday evening, with State Representative Janet Cruz and state Senator Arthenia Joyner in attendance.
The office will be located at the far east end of the entertainment district in Ybor City, at 2209 E. 7th Avenue in Tampa. The office officially opens at 6 p.m., with the festivities kicking off at 6:45 p.m.
The Clinton campaign opened a small office at the Cuban Club in Ybor in advance of the Democratic primary election back in March for a few weeks before closing it down.
The news of the new office opening takes place on the same day that a new poll shows Clinton losing to Donald Trump in the Sunshine State, 42 percent to 39 percent.
Florida’s 29 electoral votes makes it the biggest swing state of the 2016 election, and is considered an absolute must-win for Trump to have any chance of winning the White House.
