Gov. Rick Scott announced 19 appointments Wednesday to a variety of state regulatory boards.
Violent Crime and Drug Control Council
Raymond Martinez, 55, of Miami, is police chief of the Miami Beach Police Department. He fills a vacant seat for a term ending June 30, 2015.
Jeffrey Chudnow, 62, of Oviedo, is police chief of the Oviedo Police Department. His reappointment ends June 30, 2015.
Dr. Stephen Nelson, 56, of Lakeland, is chief medical examiner for District 10. His reappointment ends June 30, 2015.
Bernie McCabe, 66, of Largo, is state attorney for the Sixth Judicial Circuit. His reappointment also ends June 30, 2015.

Christine “Chris” Smith, 61, of Lloyd, is a teacher with Leon County Schools. She succeeds Nancy Whitfield for a term ending January 17, 2017.
Kristina Holman-Mohr, 64, of Havana, is a business-training consultant with Wells Fargo. She fills a vacant seat for a term ending February 18, 2017.
Vincent Giglio, 88, of Tallahassee, is an advocate for persons with disabilities. His reappointment ends July 1, 2016.
Area Thirteen, Family Care Council
Stephanie Hopper, 67, of Inverness, is a retired teacher with Citrus County School Board. She succeeds Eileen Reidy for a term ending August 26.
Shawn Mims, 39, of Ocala, is the owner of Space World PC. His reappointment ends December 11, 2016.
Area Fifteen, Family Care Council
Mozelle Green, 62, of Fort Pierce, is a teaching assistant with St. Lucie County Schools. Her reappointment ends June 5, 2016.
Board of Hearing Aid Specialists
Randy Ellsworth, 54, of Clermont, is a hearing aid specialist with Encore Hearing. His reappointment ends October 31, 2016.
John Fischer, 57, of Tallahassee, is a hearing aid specialist and regional manager for Hearing Lab Technology. His reappointment ends October 31.
Maria Hernandez, 79, of Melbourne, is retired and previously worked as a manager and consultant with AT&T. her reappointment ends October 31.
Thomas Hollern, 72, of Tallahassee, is a supervisor with the Leon County School Board. His reappointment ends October 31, 2017.
Douglas Moore, 60, of Delray Beach, is a hearing aid specialist with Moore Hearing Aid Center. His reappointment ends October 31, 2016.
Dr. Robert Pickard, 72, of Miami, is a self-employed medical doctor. His reappointment ends October 31, 2017.

Kathie Brown, 62, of Panacea, is the director of ReNu U Medical Spa. She succeeds Dorothy Bless for a term ending September 30.
Wendy Hayes, 46, of Fort Myers, is a geriatric care manager with Aging and Family Solutions. She succeeds Kathleen Houseweart for a term ending September 30, 2016.
William Edelstein, 61, of Fort Lauderdale, is a nursing home administrator at Memorial Manor. His reappointment ends September 30, 2016.
