David Jolly still appearing on Bill Maher’s show Friday; says Al Franken should too

in The Bay and the 'Burg/Top Headlines by

David Jolly fully intends to appear on “Real Time with Bill Maher” Friday night, as do previously scheduled guests Ice Cube and Symone Sanders, the former national press secretary for Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. This despite the controversy circling around the comedian, who used the N-word during his show last Friday night, prompting widespread condemnation and calls for HBO to oust him from the gig. in 2017/Top Headlines by

Say what you will about Alan Grayson; he’s brash, arrogant, outspoken. One thing he is not is “subtle.” As a liberal U.S. representative now seeking Florida’s U.S. Senate seat, Grayson has frequently skated the edge: from ethics rules to campaigning from his official House office space. Now Grayson could be in hot water once again – over copyright infringement. On fundraising material, as well as in the “Alan Grayson’s Emails” Tumbler blog, Grayson has been cribbing copyrighted images from some of America’s…
