Buccaneers, Jameis Winston ready for training camp

The Buccaneers’ training camp is only a week away. Like all teams, there is plenty of optimism in July, but the Bucs do have some reason to be positive. Perhaps the biggest upgrade from last season are the increased weapons available to quarterback Jameis Winston. The team signed deep threat free agent wide-receiver DeSean Jackson from the Washington Redskins.

Boise State follows Brett Rypien to easy win in Poinsettia Bowl

Boise State won one of the most lopsided games in this year’s bowls so far Wednesday, clobbering Northern Illinois in the Poinsettia Bowl. The Broncos won 55-7, scoring the game’s first 24 points and its last 31. Quarterback Brett Rypien hit 27 of 40 passes for 377 yards and three touchdowns to lead Boise State.
