Did Luke Del Rio just give his competition the edge they need to take his job? Del Rio, a quarterback for the Florida Gators, announced Tuesday that he will undergo surgery on his throwing shoulder. The school announced that incumbent quarterback Luke Del Rio will miss spring training due to a (non-throwing) shoulder injury, leaving the brunt of the competition to Feleipe Franks and Kyle Trask, a pair of well regarded freshmen.
