Steelers send Dolphins home for the winter

The Miami Dolphins’ stay in the NFL playoffs was brief, but at least they got there. On Sunday afternoon, the Pittsburgh Steelers had their way with Miami in a 30-12 rout at Heinz Field. Despite the score and the fact Steelers’ running back Le’Veon Bell set a franchise playoff rushing record with 167 yards, Miami had their chances. Three costly turnovers and a devastating penalty proved fatal, however. Early on, the Dolphins looked like they did not belong. If Bell…

Palmer had his worst half as a Cardinal, throwing for only 50 yards. Miami would take a 21-9 lead and appeared headed for an easy…

Some Dolphins are playing for their jobs on Thursday

This week’s Thursday Night Football Game in Cincinnati features two teams with 1-2 records. Few are surprised the Miami Dolphins carry that record, but the Cincinnati Bengals have deeply disappointed their fans by losing their last two games. The Dolphins are extremely fortunate to have their one win. All the Cleveland Browns had to do last Sunday was kick a makeable field goal at the end of the game and Miami would be 0-3. Cincinnati split their first two games…
