In a real life line from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Tampa resident Susan Carol Fernandez literally had to proclaim to a bank that she’s not dead yet (though it’s unclear whether Fernandez has a British accent.) Muslim man sues car dealership, says he was duped

A Muslim man is suing Select Motors in Tampa for allegedly duping him into purchasing a luxury vehicle for more than he initially bargained for. According to the lawsuit filed in Hillsborough County Court February 3, the cost discrepancy between the acquisition price Deeb Aliwaiwi brokered and what was assessed in loan documents amounted to more than $50,000. Former resident accuses Tampa apartment complex of discrimination

The Madison Heights apartment complex in downtown is in the middle on an interesting legal battle. A former resident, self-proclaimed part-time comedian David Eldredge, is suing the owners of the building for discrimination and illegally disclosing his HIV status. A Wesley Chapel woman is suing the company Great Clips for discrimination after she claims she denied employment because she wore a hijab.
