You’ll no longer see stars on Twitter: The messaging service has removed the star icon found under every tweet and replaced it with a heart. Twitter Inc. said Tuesday it made the change because the star can be confusing to new users and the heart is more universally known around the globe. Marco Rubio has the most Facebook “likes” for Republican (GOP) candidates with 84,409 (3,376/CD) while Barbara Boxer leads the way for Democrat (DEM) candidates with 29,451 (556/CD).  GOP candidates account for 7 of the top 10 rankings for total “likes” including the entire top 5, according to research compiled by Targeted Research.
