The law firm of Metz Husband & Daughton was born in Tallahassee, and there it thrived last quarter, collecting an estimated $1.5 million in lobbying fees, according to recently filed compensation reports. Registered governmental affairs firms, representing virtually every industry in Florida, reported earning slightly more than $35 million from January 1 to March 31 of this year to lobby the Florida Legislature.
