Ballots mailed to military, overseas voters for municipal elections

Pinellas County’s Supervisor of Elections Office mailed a total of 411 ballots to absent military and overseas voters Friday for the March 14 municipal elections. Former Redington Shores Mayor sues city over short-term rental law

A past mayor of Redington Shores and several other property owners are suing the city over what they claim is an unconstitutional town law regulating short-term rentals. The ordinance in question prohibits properties to be rented for less than a month throughout the town. Former Redington Shores Mayor Jay Beyrouti claims to have been renting his property on a short-term basis for the past 10 years.
