11th candidate joins SP mayoral race

Political novice Richard Eldridge became the 11th candidate for Mayor of St. Petersburg. Don’t know much about him, but his frighteningly amateur website can be found at eldridge2009.com. He was in the Marine Corps. Could be a scary dude, so I’m not saying anything else. Except I found it a little odd that on his website, he makes it clear that when he is writing: “there are no gender neutral words for he, she, him, her, his or hers. In my writing, I will use the masculine gender and you will know by the context when it applies to either sex.” Something tells me we need to put Alex Haak and this guy in the same room.
