Research issues; educate clients and legislators and then negotiate the appropriate outcome. Of course at times I am considered a “cat herder” when working coalitions.

One who believes that government should help those who cannot provide for themselves and have rules and regulations that protect the environment without hindering growth.

If it ends at a reasonable hour go to Governor’s Club for a good bottle of wine and appetizers.
What are you most looking forward to during the 2013 Legislative Session?
Watching all the new freshmen legislators … we have a diverse group starting their legislative careers and it is very exciting!

We are selective about our client list so I am thrilled with the group we have!
Professional accomplishment of which you are most proud?
Becoming President of Public Affairs Consultants and being able to provide our clients with positive, professional public affairs representation.
Lobbyists are often accused of wearing Gucci loafers; do you own a pair of Gucci loafers? If not, why not?
No Gucci loafers … but I have a Gucci purse. It was given to me by “T” Allgood, the wife of former Georgia Senator Tom Allgood. Both were tragically killed in an airplane crash. I will always cherish it.
Who is your favorite Florida Capitol Press Corp reporter and why?
David Royse – gets both sides of the story; Dara Kam – you know talking with her is going to be fun and Steve Bousquet – I have known him for a really long time!
