Counsel and support candidates as they seek election to public office and serve as a strategist, guide and advocate for clients as they navigate the complexities of government at the state and local level.

A social and fiscal conservative whose political philosophy has been shaped by Ronald Reagan’s influence.

Watching from the gallery; making quick dashes down the stairs to the fourth floor; take-out dinner with our team; driving home to Tampa, regardless of how late session ends

What are you most looking forward to during the 2013 Legislative Session.

Interacting with the many new House and Senate members; spending time with returning members; seeing our clients on a daily basis; successful outcomes for our clients; an on-time sine-die.

If you could have another lobbyist’s client list, it would be…

I’ll take our firm’s client list any day!  We are really proud of our clients and what they do to make our state a better place.

Professional accomplishment of which you are most proud?

Any accomplishment in this process is the result of being part of an exceptional team.  Most proud?  Watching the Legislature pass the Susser claims bill, sponsored by Representative Hasner and Senator Jones, back in 2007.  The Susser family had been through a ton to get to that point and it was very meaningful to be part of getting justice for Adam and his parents.

Lobbyists are often accused of wearing Gucci loafers; do you own a pair of Gucci loafers? If not, why not?

No.  I’m too cheap (perhaps frugal is a better wordJ) and much prefer comfort over brand.

Who is your favorite Florida Capitol Press Corp reporter and why?

Steve Bousquet – A true professional who reports the facts and tells the story without engaging in personal attacks.
