A shot-and-chaser for Alex Sink’s latest (and hopefully final) communications screw-up

Alex Sink will not run for Congress again this year.

The Democrat said in a statement Tuesday that she will not wage another campaign in the fall after losing a high-stakes special House election last month to Republican David Jolly.

Here’s an afternoon shot-and-chaser in honor of Sink’s latest (and hopefully final) communications screw-up.

SHOT: 10:22 a.m. – The timestamp for the email from info@alexsinkcampaign announcing that Sink “made a personal decision not to run for the 13th Congressional District seat in the 2014 election.”

CHASER: 1:04 P.M. – The timestamp for the mail from alex@alexsinkfl.com in which Sink writes, “I made a very personal decision not to run for the 13th Congressional District seat in the 2014 election.” The subject line of Sink’s email? “I want to tell you first.”

In other words, Alex Sink could not even get right her parting shot.
