Absolutely, positively must-check-out: the all-new Florida Current

in Uncategorized by

With much of the most interesting issues still in play this legislative session, you can never have enough information about what is going on in the Capital and beyond. Wanna know where I get much of my real-time news and updates? Certainly not the traditional media, which, with few exceptions, is reporting on stories that began developing days ago. No, to stay truly plugged-in, I access LobbyTools.com, where I can read the Current and the Florida Tribune. This is the online hub home to uber-insiders like Gary Fineout.

Up until now, the public could only read Fineout and Co.’s work after it went live on the Florida Tribune, while subscribers to LobbyTools were able to read their cutting-edge reporting a bit earlier on the Current. Well, the good folks at LobbyTools have now cut out that gap and are making the Current available to public. And I cannot offer a stronger endorsement — if you want to, um, stay current regarding Florida politics — of a website. Check it out now. Add the RSS feed. Plug it into your Google Reader. Whatever you have to do to read the Current.
