Gotta give credit where credit is due:, The Victory Group was honored with two national Pollie Awards, the political industry’s top honors for excellence in the field.

The award winners:

“The Tiahrt Story” – A beautifully illustrated portrait of Congressman Todd Tiahrt’s personal life, early college days, ideology and political aspirations, much of it passionately and personally narrated by his wife Vicky.

This short film, e-blasted to a large national network, featured in social media, and posted on the campaign’s website home page, is still in play as Tiahrt contrasts his brand of conservative leadership with that of a fellow Kansas congressman in a top-tier fight for a U.S. Senate seat.

“Three Leaders”– Written and directed for John Thrasher’s special election to the Florida State Senate, this 30-second spot joined at the hip three Republican icons: Sen. Thrasher, Congressman Ander Crenshaw, and former Governor Jeb Bush.  Sen. Thrasher’s background, including spirited leadership as a former House Speaker, dominated the agenda in this short porch campaign.

Peter Schorsch is the President of Extensive Enterprises and is the publisher of some of Florida’s most influential new media websites, including SaintPetersBlog.com, FloridaPolitics.com, ContextFlorida.com, and Sunburn, the morning read of what’s hot in Florida politics. SaintPetersBlog has for three years running been ranked by the Washington Post as the best state-based blog in Florida. In addition to his publishing efforts, Peter is a political consultant to several of the state’s largest governmental affairs and public relations firms. Peter lives in St. Petersburg with his wife, Michelle, and their daughter, Ella.
