The Victory Group is pleased to announce that Adam Goodman has been appointed to serve as a member of the Florida Film & Entertainment Advisory Council to “provide industry insight and expertise related to developing, marketing, promoting…Florida’s entertainment industry.”
The 17 appointed members of the Council are nominated by the Governor, Senate President, and Speaker of the House. Goodman’s commission term, effective immediately, runs through June 30, 2016.
“Adam’s vast experience and expertise in filmmaking will be a tremendous asset to the Florida Film Commission as it works to expand Florida’s economic opportunities in the film industry,” said House Speaker Will Weatherford. “I appreciate Adam’s willingness to serve the state and help make Florida a global destination for film and entertainment.”
“Florida should be at the forefront of the entertainment industry because we have the talent, the locations, the weather, and the people to drive success here. I’m honored by Speaker Weatherford’s confidence in me, and the opportunity to make that happen,” Goodman said today.
Goodman has spent more than 30 years in the film industry as an award-winning director, writer and strategist in and beyond Florida.
