Adam Putnam to headline Maverick PAC Tally fundraiser

Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam is the special guest tonight at a Tallahassee fundraiser for the conservative Maverick PAC USA.

The event begins 5:30 p.m. in the offices of Florida Realtors, 200 South Monroe St. in Tallahassee.

Hosts include Florida co-chairs Slayter Bayless and Jeb Bush Jr., as well as Tallahassee co-chairs Amanda Bevis, Brandi Brown, Chelsi Henry, Darrick McGhee, Toby Philpot and Jason Rodriguez.

Maverick PAC USA is the political advocacy group made up of more than 3,500 young attorneys, business and civic leaders with 20 chapters nationwide; the goal of MAVPAC Florida is to promote GOP candidates and advance conservative issues.

Headed by George P. Bush, who is the son of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, brother of Jeb Jr. and grandson of President George Herbert Bush, MAVPAC is the political committee formed as an outreach to young professionals aged 27-40.
