Charlie Crist and Marco Rubio are essentially tied in the U.S. Senate race, according to a poll released Wednesday by Associated Industries of Florida. The telephone poll taken by s McLaughlin & Associates of likely general election voters had Crist up 2 percentage points, less than the 4 percent margin of error, if U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meek is the Democratic nominee. If businessman Jeff Greene is the Democratic nominee Crist and Rubio both poll 37 percent with Greene getting 16 percent.
