Alex Sink for Congress is asking for money, but it’s not what you think.
The former chief financial officer turned failed gubernatorial candidate turned disappointing congressional candidate is raising money for the Florida Wildlife Federation on the heels of Amendment 1’s passage earlier this month.
“On Election Day, we proved that Florida is ready to take action to keep pollution out of our rivers, lakes, springs, and coastal waters, as well as to protect our precious natural treasures,” writes Sink, who probably enjoyed the change of pace talking about winning an election. “In a powerful, bipartisan victory, we passed Amendment One with a voter majority of 75%—a MAJOR success in our Sunshine State!”
Interestingly, the fundraising email disclaims that it was paid for by Alex Sink for Congress.
FWF needs to raise money to make “sure that conservation laws passed in the 2015 Legislative Session reflect the intentions of Amendment One, and the will of the people”
“And you will enjoy their regular newsletters as I do!” Sink promises.
