Today, Alex Sink announced that her campaign raised $1.3 million since the last reporting period, leaving the campaign filed with nearly a million dollars cash on hand for the final weeks of the campaign, bringing her overall fundraising total to $2.5 million.
“I am humbled and grateful that so many have joined our campaign to bring Republicans, Democrats and Independents together to break the gridlock in Washington and get Congress focused on solving problems that matter to us,” said Sink. “Now is the time for us to act – I urge Pinellas residents to join me in casting our ballots so that together, we can bring these bipartisan, problem solving values back to Congress. I would be honored to take the voices of Pinellas to Washington.”
The campaign filed its Pre-Special General financial report with the Federal Elections Commission today. Among the other interesting notes from Sink’s report:
- During this period, the campaign raised $1,307,318.92, and filed with $971,586.62 cash on hand.
- Since announcing, over 19,000 donors have donated to the campaign.
- During this reporting period, the campaign received over 18,000 contributions $50 and under.
