Alex Sink will join a group of residents, community leaders, and business owners this afternoon to help clean up Indian Rocks Beach.

The event is Monday, January 13 beginning 1:30 p.m. at the Indian Rocks Beach Access, 1700 Gulf Blvd.

The Democratic congressional candidate describes the event as “a model for the kind of bipartisan, results oriented leadership Alex will bring to Congress – bringing folks together to solve the problems that matter most to Pinellas  – as well as speaking about the importance of the environment to Pinellas’ economy,” according to the announcement.

Sink will face the winner of tomorrow’s  GOP primary —  either Mark Bircher, David Jolly or Kathleen Peters — in addition to Libertarian candidate Lucas Overby in the March 14 general election to replace former U.S. Rep. C.W. Bill Young  for Pinellas County’s Congressional District 13.
