Lucas Overby could be the first Libertarian in Congress. Lucas could make history in Pinellas county and defeat the Republicans and Democrats with your help.

Let’s just say that you want to see Lucas win. Here is what you do. Get Lucas 300 votes. Contact the campaign and get involved in direct voter outreach efforts. Going door to door or making phone calls for the campaign and find him 300 people who will vote. Do the follow up to make sure each and every one of your 300 voters go and vote.

The advantage you have is that you will be able to talk to everyone and not just Republicans or Democrats. You can tell them that you are helping a Libertarian and explain his positions and that only 25% of the people will vote on average. Let them know that you can select a true citizen legislator and not a person who has been in the system for years.

The people as a whole are not happy with either party and are looking for a real change. The polls show this over and over again. The people do not really want any of them. It is up to us who want to see principled candidates win to do everything we can to make it happen.

It is not going to happen online. It is going to happen by helping the campaign by going door to door and delivering as much of the vote as possible.

There are about 468,704 registered voters that will be able to vote in this election. If 25% is the expected turnout then there will be about 117,176 voters going to the polls. In a 3 way race 40% would be a sure win. That is about 46,870 votes and we win. If each person who supported Lucas were to get him 300 votes we would only need about 156 volunteers.

Are there 156 people in or near the Pinellas county area that want to make history? I hope so.
