Aliese “Liesa” Priddy was appointed to the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission by the governor on Thursday. Priddy, 54, of Immokalee, has been the owner of JB Ranch since 2007 and a conflict of interest coordinator with Cohen and Grigsby P.C. since 2006. She has also served on the Big Cypress Basin Board and the board of directors of the Economic Development Council of Collier County. Priddy’s nomination by Gov. Rick Scott is subject to Senate confirmation. Priddy would succeed Dwight Stephenson, who isn’t seeking reappointment to the commission. The appointment is for a term running through 2016.
Audubon greeted the news Thursday that Governor Scott appointed Liesa Priddy to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission with enthusiasm.
