I'm very happy to see you do this and very happy to see that you recognized your relationship with Brandes in these recent articles. Good for you, Mr. Schorsch.

Actually, without knowing it, I assumed you had a relationship with Brandes based solely on the tone of articles about him. Hopefully, that will help you understand that, although it may have been unconscious, your reportage was quite likely biased when it comes to your clients. Disclosure makes all the difference.

I'll still read your thoughts about Brandes, but they will be "processed" more as paid advertisements than as journalism. That's still a plus for him, because any other political advertisements I see are either ignored completely or thrown away.

Again, thank you for this move. Classy step.

First off, congratulations for being admitted to the Florida Press Association. It is recognition well deserved.

It has been interesting to watch StPetersBlog and Exentsive Enterprises grow into a go to powerful source for political information and comment. Just goes to show what really hard work and commitment can accomplish.

The whole argument about journalists verses Bloggers won't be resolved with Extensive Enterprises admission into the Florida Press Association, but it does begin to add some credibility to Blogging and provides a pretty good bar for those who seriously blog.

As to the naysayers, I have had more than one journalist and reader say to me, "it must be nice to be able to write what you say and feel," to which I smile and reply "yes it is".

Keep up the good work, maybe the next step will be the Washington Press Club, who knows.
