Ansley Z Kids Co. joins Sundial

Today The Edwards Group announced the addition of Ansley Z Kids Co. to the Sundial lifestyle center. Ansley Z will feature children’s clothing, accessories, shoes, toys, gifts and more, and will take over the space formerly occupied by L.O.L. Kids.

Ansley Z Kids Co., owned and operated by Jackie Zumba, will be a compliment to Sundial’s highly successful Jackie Z Style Co., also owned by Zumba.

Zumba made her name in fashion retailing after opening Jackie Z Style Co. on Sarasota’s Main Street. The shop was voted best boutique by Sarasota Magazine in 2013 and 2014. In late 2014, Zumba opened the Sundial location, bringing luxury designer clothing and the latest trend-setting pieces to downtown St. Petersburg. In 2015, Zumba was named one of the Business Observer’s 40 Under 40.

Opening a children’s store is the natural next-step for the entrepreneur and mother of Ansley, nearing her second birthday.

“I have been thinking about opening a children’s store even before I had Ansley,” said Zumba. “As a new mom, that desire has only grown. Now that Jackie Z is established in St. Petersburg, and Ansley is turning two, I felt it was the perfect time to expand our footprint in downtown. We live here and have become part of the community. I am so excited that we were able to arrange for the space at Sundial. It will allow our customers who are looking to outfit themselves and their children a one-stop shopping experience. And it will be a family affair – customers will see me, Brian and Ansley at the store on a regular basis!”

“We are extremely pleased to welcome Ansley Z to Sundial,” added Sundial owner Bill Edwards. “Jackie has delivered an exceptional level of style and service to her clients and customers, and I know she will do the same with Ansley Z. We love being a part of such a local success story.”

Ansley Z Kids Co. is scheduled to open the first week of May. The boutique will offer custom “mommy and me” and “daddy and me” options, gift registry, free tailoring, gift wrapping, delivery, shipping and a playroom for kids.
