Rep. Matt Gaetz agreed to a televised debate with executive director of the Dream Defenders Phillip Agnew to discuss Florida’s Stand Your Ground law, reports Allison Nielsen of Sunshine State News

Agnew challenged Gaetz to a debate via Twitter on Sunday after he read news reports saying Gaetz wouldn’t support changing the self-defense law. Gaetz has been particularly vocal about his stance on Stand Your Ground and was chosen by House Speaker Will Weatherford to hold a hearing on the controversial law in the fall.  

On Sunday evening, Agnew tweeted the following to Gaetz:
