Former Hillsborough County Circuit Judge Ashley Moody last month continued to lead fundraising for the 2018 attorney general’s race.
Moody raised $148,260 for her campaign account and had about $733,000 in cash on hand as of Aug. 31, according to a newly filed finance report. Her GOP primary opponent, state Rep. Jay Fant, a Jacksonville Republican, raised $15,635 during the month and had nearly $156,000 on hand.
Democrat Ryan Torrens, a Hillsborough County attorney, raised $5,118 and had about $13,400 on hand, the reports show.
