The Florida Gulf Coast Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) today announced 8 endorsements for the U.S. House of Representatives.

ABC endorses: District 11 – Rich Nugent, District 12 – Gus Bilirakis, District 13 – C. W. Bill Young, District 14 – Evelio “E.J” Otero, District 15 – Dennis Ross, District 16 – Vern Buchanan, District 17 – Tom Rooney, District 19 – Gary Aubuchon

“The 2012 elections are a top priority for the commercial and industrial construction industry and the millions of Americans it employs,” says the chapter’s Chief Operating Officer Steve Cona III.  “These candidates have articulated a clear position on issues important to ABC members, including opposing federally mandated project labor agreements (PLA’s), returning the NLRB to a neutral arbiter of labor disputes and supporting the free-market, merit shop philosophy.”

“We are proud to support all these candidates for Congress,” said Ron Cox, 2012 ABC Chapter Chairman and President of Cox Fire Protection. “We are confident that each of these candidates is committed to cutting government spending, lowering taxes and creating jobs – a focus that our country and economy need.”
