Associated Industries of Florida Political Action Committee (AIFPAC) – comprised of AIF member companies from across the state – today announced its endorsement of Mike Weinstein in the Republican primary for Florida Senate District 4.

“Mike Weinstein is a proven Florida leader whose passion and commitment to serving Northeast Florida are demonstrated by his service in the Florida House of Representatives and several community leadership positions. Ideologically and philosophically, he stands with Florida’s business community and his knowledge of complex issues like tort reform and tax policy are exactly the kind of conservative champion we need in the Florida Senate,” said Tom Feeney, Associated Industries of Florida President and CEO.

Originally founded as the Duval County Employers Association in 1920, AIF has deep roots in this community and joins the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce along with a growing list of Jacksonville business leaders in endorsing Mike Weinstein for the Florida Senate.

“I am committed to continuing to advance policies that encourage business growth and job creation and reject government’s tendency to overregulate and frustrate the free market system,” said Weinstein.  “I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Associated Industries of Florida PAC, and look forward to working with this esteemed organization on continuing to build the best business climate in the country.”
