The company who makes the popular slide behind the Tradewinds Resort on St. Pete Beach is suing an Australian company for ripping off its design and brand. The Hippo slide is advertised as the biggest inflatable waterslide in the world. Cool new web tool from AARP allows users to see how their neighborhood stacks up to others

Two Florida cities were recognized in a new tool released this week called the Livability Index. Jacksonville and Tallahassee were identified as strong “livable communities based on a series of metrics. It’s a web-based tool developed by AARP to measure overall community livability. A lawsuit filed in Hillsborough County suggests arbitrators in a nursing home dispute may have allowed lawyers for John Knox Village of Tampa Bay to cheat in the proceedings.
