Jeff Brandes’ re-election campaign finds a fifth gear for race against Judithanne McLauchlan

Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn will not run unopposed for re-election in 2015. Pat Gerard bashes Ed Hooper for using state House seat to profit in private company

More accusations are flying from the Pat Gerard campaign against her opponent in the District 2 Pinellas County Commission race, Ed Hooper. The allegation: that Hooper used his spot in the state legislature to pad his bank account by doing favors for clients. SPC student claims professor banned class from writing about same-sex marriage

A St. Petersburg College student is flaming mad that he can’t write a college paper on same-sex marriage. Erik Hahmann is a student at the school currently enrolled in an American National Government class taught by Professor William Klein. According to Hahmann’s blog, Klein instructed students to write a paper on anything they wanted as long as it was relevant to the class.
