Appeals court rejects Internet Cafe case

A Tallahassee-based appeals court Monday refused to revive a lawsuit that could have determined whether Internet cafes violate state gambling laws, reports the News Service of Florida. The 1st District Court of Appeal rejected an appeal by Allied Veterans of the World, Inc., a major operator of the controversial cafes. A three-judge panel did not give reasons for the decision.
