“Fangate” jokes aside, Florida’s gubernatorial race remains a dead heat in the home stretch. A new Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of likely Florida Voters finds current Republican Governor Rick Scott and former Republican Governor Charlie Crist, now a Democrat, each picking up 47% of the vote. House District 68 GOP candidate Bill Young II had a solid fundraising run from Oct. 4-10, adding another $24,300, for $175,864 so far in his effort to unseat incumbent Democrat Rep. Dwight Dudley. Pam Bondi campaign and committee hit $3.9 million-raised mark

Attorney General Pam Bondi and her associated political committee have raised more than $3.9 million combined for her re-election effort, according to newly filed finance reports. Bondi’s campaign added $74,965 from Oct. 4 to Oct. 10, for an overall total to $2,096,398. After a slow few months of expenditures, Republican Jeff Atwater’s re-election campaign for state Chief Financial Officer has upped its spending during the final weeks of the General Election. From Oct. 4-10, Atwater’s campaign spent $776,988, after a spending spree of $1,005,415 the previous week, according to new finance reports.
