Jamie Bennett files amended report — again

in Peter/The Bay and the 'Burg by
The City Clerk’s office just called me with news that Jamie Bennett is filing an amended campaign treasurer’s report for the last fundraising period. This will be the third time of the campaign Bennett has been forced to submit an amended report. This latest instance comes after my insistence that Bennett did not make checks paid to me payable to PS Creative, my former company.

Of course, Bennett said that I was lying right up until I threatened to file complaints with the Florida Election Commission (with a copy to the State Attorney’s office) because my records clearly indicate that Bennett wrote the checks payable to “Peter Schorsch.”

How Bennett reported these payments was really no concern to me until he made a mountain out of a molehill by releasing a statement attacking me. Bennett has tried to take advantage of my unsavory reputation by consistently stating that I am the liar, when, in fact, he has been exposed for his gross incompetence, as evidenced by the fact that Bennett has had to file three amendments to his campaign treasurer’s reports and accepted multiple cash contributions in excess of $50.

Amended report here.
