Jamie Bennett sends apology letter

in Peter/The Bay and the 'Burg by

The text of the letter includes this paragraph:

“I am writing to you today to make you aware of a change in our campaign. After clear evidence of broken trust, I found it necessary to replace our campaign manager. As many of you may be aware, he came to the campaign with a very negative background. I am a firm believer in forgiveness and giving people second chances. However, unfortunately, he made some very poor judgment decisions which reflected negatively on the campaign…”

So Jamie is apologizing for hiring me, not for his actions, not for coordinating an outreach effort to give away his tickets, not for coming up with the idea to have homeless people disrupt Kathleen Ford’s announcement speech, not for failing to disclose his expenditures, not for trying to pay me through a third party, not for paying for the supplies for an anonymous mailing trashing Deveron Gibbons…

He is still trying to blame me. Sure, I am a son-of-a-bitch, but if I was so bad, then why did he listen to me for all of his policies ideas. So he listened to those conversations, but not to the ones about the dirty tricks.

You’re damn right I am pissed and I’ve got my finger on the nuclear trigger. Wrong move.
