Bill Young II’s first fundraiser is set for March 28.
The special guest at the fundraising next Friday will be newly elected U.S. Rep. David Jolly, successor of Young’s father, the late C.W. Bill Young. The reception will be at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club Waterfront Room, and begins at 5:30 p.m.
Young is running as a Republican for the Pinellas County House seat currently held by first-term Democratic Rep. Dwight Dudley.
More than three dozen Republican supporters will lead the event, including Young’s mother Beverly, brother Patrick, and fellow GOP candidates Chris Sprowls and Chris Latvala.
Among the Pinellas County public heavyweights in attendance will be Sheriff Bob Gualtieri, Clearwater Mayor George Cretekos, State District Attorney Bernie McCabe, Circuit Court Clerk Ken Burke, Property Appraiser Pam Dubov and County Commissioner John Morroni.
