The Republican Party of Florida announced Wednesday that Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell will serve as the keynote speaker for the 2012 Victory Dinner.

The dinner, to be held on October 4th at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in Orlando, is the state GOP’s largest fundraiser of the year.

“This is an important event for the RPOF and with Governor McDonnell as our keynote speaker, I know it will be a huge success,” said RPOF Chairman Lenny Curry in a release announcing the keynote. “Governor McDonnell is a strong leader and a true conservative–I know his remarks will fire up our supporters for the final stretch of this year’s election.”

Sarah Palin gave the keynote at last year’s Victory Dinner.
