Rep. Jeff Brandes and his campaign are picking up right where they left off in 2010, debuting today a cute TV commercial titled “Innovator.”

I say picks up where they left off because, in 2010, then-candidate Brandes build substantial name recognition with a series of TV ads that each ended with a reference to a unique aspect of Brandes’ background, including him being a “woodshed owner” and then a “scuba diver.”

This ad focuses on Brandes’ work in the Legislature and beyond on the critical transportation and infrastructure needs of the sprawling community which is Tampa Bay.

Notably, the commercial features Google Car, the vehicle which serves as a prototype for autonomous driving at the core of legislation passed by Rep. Brandes during the 2012 legislative session.

The ad was produced by political ad impressario Adam Goodman and his team at The Victory Group.
