Brett Doster to run Mitt Romney’s Florida campaign

Brett Doster, a veteran Florida GOP consultant who ran President Bush’s re-elect there, is going to head up Mitt Romney’s Sunshine State effort, POLITICO has learned.

There was much buzz in recent weeks that Doster was signing up with Rick Perry and the strategist had talked to the Texan’s campaign, so the get is doubly as sweet for Romney.

Also helping Romney in Florida are state director Molly Donlin and his state field director is J.C. Hernandez. Alex Melendez is Romney’s staffer in west Florida.
