Marc Reichelderfer may operate a one-man firm, but this political genius doesn’t work alone. Instead, Reichelderfer’s successes are almost always linked to his thoughtful, adept, and deep relationships.
“I don’t know anyone more determined or who works harder, he finds a way to win,” says Contribution Link founder Brecht Heuchan.
Reichelderfer, president of Landmarc Strategies, Inc., founded his own operation in 2004. He has teamed with the Republican Party of Florida during at least seven election cycles, and has most recently seen recognition from his work with the David Jolly campaign team.
Campaign & Elections magazine named Reichelderfer as one of Florida’s top five “Republican Influencers of 2012” — in part for his work with several of Florida’s top lawmakers, such as Senators John Thrasher and Aaron Bean. Reichelderfer is also a resident guru on Attorney General Pam Bondi’s reelection campaign.
There are few big races that this guy is not somehow a part of.
“I’ve had a lot of mentors in the business, but none compare to Marc. Marc is strategic, calm and super smart, but he is also a good teacher. He takes the time to explain the reasoning behind a decision he makes so that the people who work with him learn more about our craft and can grow as consultants,” said Sarah Bascom, explaining how she feels Reichelderfer has seen the successes he has. “He also always thinks about the long game and plans out every move with the end goal in mind. That is why he is so good at what he does.”
During legislative season, Reichelderfer lobbies for a number of satellite television companies: DIRECTV, DISH Network, and the Satellite Broadcasting & Communications Association. He is also a primary team member for the Florida Medical Association, Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, the Humane Society of the United States, and iSchool Campus.
“Marc Reichelderfer is the consummate campaign professional,” says friend and client, Representative Dana Young. “He is uber-smart,, organized, rational, calm, trustworthy and kind – an amazing combination in the cutthroat world of campaigns. “
