So, it’s going to be a busy Fall:

CPAC FL is adding a U.S. Senate GOP primary straw poll.

The straw poll will be conducted by Fabrizio, McLaughlin & Associates, and is open to all registered CPAC attendees. The American Conservative Union will set the official straw poll ballot and release official rules and additional details in the coming weeks. Individuals included on the ballot will be invited to provide brief remarks from CPAC FL’s main stage. Invited participants include Adam Hasner, George LeMieux, Mike McCalister and Craig Miller.

Meanwhile, Florida Democrats will hold their annual state convention to be held Oct. 28-30 in Orlando. The theme: “A Legacy of Leadership: A Promise for Tomorrow.” From the FDP release:

“Our state is at a crossroads. Our Tea Party Governor and Republican-led Legislature are pressing forward with a radical, job-killing agenda aimed squarely at our state’s hard-working firefighters, police officers, teachers and public employees. Faced with this extreme agenda, Democrats are more determined than ever to fight back and stop this right-wing agenda from sweeping Florida.”
