As the first Florida gubernatorial debates prepare for broadcast tonight, the Charlie Crist for Governor Campaign will host a series of watch parties in Miami, Tampa and Orlando.
The debate between Crist and incumbent Gov. Rick Scott was taped earlier Friday morning, to air this evening at 7:00 p.m. on Telemundo.
During the debate broadcast, Crist’s running mate Annette Taddeo will join supporters for a watch party in Little Havana. Democratic state Sen. Darren Soto, state Reps. Victor Manuel “Vic” Torres and Janet Cruz will also hold similar events.
Taddeo’s Miami debate watch party, which begins 6 p.m., with a press availability at 6:45 p.m., will take place at the Little Havana Field Office, 2206 SW 8th Street.
The Orlando watch party with Soto and Torres begins also at 6:00 p.m. 1603 Rio Cove Court.
Cruz’s event will be at La Teresita restaurant, 3248 W. Columbus Drive in Tampa.
