Charlie Crist campaign launching blog, “Scott Free Florida”

According Dan Gelber, Rick Scott needs a little “disinfectant,” something he will not get by spending over $100 million to fix the governor’s “toxic image” before Election Day.

We can’t let it happen, says the former Florida House leader and current adviser to Charlie Crist, referring to Scott “reinventing himself.”

In a recent email blast to Democratic supporters — called Sunshine is the Best Disinfectant—the people must know about Scott’s record of putting profits over people.

That’s why the Charlie Crist campaign is launching Scott Free Florida, a new blog and online community — just to shine the bright light of public scrutiny on the dreadful GOP incumbent.

Scott Free will feature everything from infographics and fact-checks to videos, all dedicated to “holding Rick Scott’s feet to the fire”

At the same time, the site will also defend Crist’s record, which is currently facing an onslaught from Scott.

The stakes in this election are “huge,” Gelber reminds readers, and voters of Florida simply can’t afford to be fooled again.

And that won’t happen, especially if Democrats — and voters — work to keep the heat on.

With enough sunshine, especially for Florida candidates, it can get pretty hot.
