Democrat Charlie Crist continues his “Kitchen Table” tour this morning, sitting down with a middle-class family in Boynton Beach to talk about the “low wage, high cost economy” of Gov. Rick Scott.
The last stop on Crist’s tour will begin 10:30 a.m. at 78 Vista Del Rio in Boynton Beach.
As part of the tour, Crist, with running mate Annette Taddeo, visited Holiday, Sarasota, Jacksonville, Hollywood, Little Havana and Miami. Among the topics addressed were plans to address the increased utility rates, property insurance premiums and cutbacks to Florida’s Bright Futures scholarships after four years under Republican incumbent Scott.
Recent polling has shown Crist gaining momentum, after spending the race against Scott in a virtual tie. Voters are now beginning to receive absentee ballots, and early voting later this month.
