Working to GOTV, Charlie Crist to make rounds in South Florida events this weekend

Charlie Crist will be making the rounds in South Florida this weekend, hosting several get-out-the-vote, canvassing and phone bank events to mark the days of early voting in advance of Tuesday’s primaries.

On Saturday, August 23, the likely Democratic nominee for governor will appear at three GOTV events in the Miami area: Miami Gardens at 10 a.m., 4797 NW 183 Street; Liberty City at 11 a.m. 675 NW 62 Street; and Deerfield Beach at 12:30 p.m., 10 Fairway Drive.

Annette Taddeo, Crist’s running mate, will join volunteers for two meet-and greets in the Orlando area: an Orange County GOTV Phone Bank and Canvass Launch event at 10:00 a.m., 1603 Rio Cove Ct. in Orlando; and a 4:00 p.m. meeting with supporters in Osceola County, 2222 N. Stewart St. in Kissimmee.

Also on Saturday, there will be other pre-primary Crist for Governor GOTV events across the state:

  • Palm Beach County GOTV Phone Bank And Canvass Kick Off, 10:00 a.m. at 9045 La Fontana Blvd Ste. 120 in Boca Raton
  • Broward County Canvass Launch Event, 10:00 a.m. at 6770 Garfield Street in Hollywood
  • Tampa GOTV Phone Bank and Canvass Launch, 10:00 a.m. at 3105 West Waters Avenue
