Charlie Crist says “Not so” on rumors of Obama appoinment

Florida Democrats (but none that I know) have been abuzz the past few days over a rumor that Charlie Crist might be headed to Washington.

“Not so,” Crist replied in an e-mail to Scott Powers of the Political Pulse, which inquired about rumors that President Barack Obama has offered him some sort of job and he’s been weighing that option against others.

It’s more likely the folks at the Rick Scott-linked Let’s Get To Work committee are spreading this rumor in hopes of stirring up controversy against Crist.
